LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
Service to You - What we do and how we do it on a daily basis is more than just great lawn care. According to folks who know us, we are flexible, responsive, caring, happy, service-oriented, personable and committed to excellence.
Service to Nature - Here at Grow, we believe in a holistic approach to landscaping, taking into consideration both nature and you, our valued customer. At Grow, we use slow release fertilizers; these protect our valuable ponds and rivers from pollution while providing the proper nutrients needed for healthy and beautiful plants and grass.
Mowing - To prevent damage to your grass, we change our mowing patterns and we are careful to use a hand mower for hard-to-reach areas of your landscape.
Edging - For maintaining the proper size of your shrub beds and to keep a well-manicured appearance, we use a stick edger. This takes more care, but this also helps to avoid the need for sod replacement.
Pruning - Realizing that certain trees and shrubs require more care during the pruning process we always use the correct tools to complete this task, no matter how much longer it may take. For instance, we hand-prune Arboricola and Ixora plants because pruning machinery could damage their delicate leaves.
Fertilization - To ensure your lawn gets just the right level of year-round nutrition, we use a high grade, slow-release formula on grass and shrubs approximately four times per year.
Weed Control - Since watering can be so important in the weed-control process we monitor irrigation to avoid over or under watering, while also spraying the turf on an as-needed basis. Our weed control program for your lawn also includes the application of a liquid herbicide to the shrub beds once a week.
Mulching - To ensure proper moisture for your trees and shrubs we use pine straw, Cypress grade A, and Cypress bark for mulching. We mulch three inches deep, which is just the right level for correct moisture without overwhelming the look of your landscape. We’re also careful not to get too close to trees or shrubs. To help your landscape maintain its optimal look we mulch twice a year.
