80% of shoppers will wait for sustainable shipping



A new study finds that online shoppers care about retailers shipping their order in a sustainable way and will pay more and wait longer for their orders. Some important takeaways include: a) 57% of consumers say sustainable packaging and shipping is important (34%) or very important (23%) when purchasing online b) 76% of shoppers say they would pay an extra 5% for more sustainable shipping c) 69% of consumers say sustainable shipping has influenced their past purchases and d) 77% of shoppers say companies use excessive packaging when shipping products.
